The 57th annual Abbotsford International Airshow returns to the Abbotsford International Airport August 9 to 11.
The 2019 Airshow will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and Canadian Forces Snowbirds demonstration teams. The Thunderbirds have not performed in Abbotsford since 2012. Also performing will be the CF-18 Hornet demo team, Aeroshell Aerobatic Team, Canadian Skyhawks parachute team, historic warbirds from 4 aviation museums, and award-winning civilian aerobatic performers including Kent Pietsch and Manfred Radius. The popular Friday Twilight Show will take place on August 9, followed by daytime programs on August 10 & 11.
The event also features over 14 acres of festival space including interactive activities and displays for all ages, Kids Zone adventure playground, more than 40 food trucks and concessions, and a large static display ramp featuring military, civilian and historic aircraft.
