Athletics for Kids (A4K) exists to eliminate the financial barriers to entry into amateur sport for children and youth from lower income families and some of the most vulnerable kids in the Province. Up to $450 per year per child is provided to kids 5-18 years old, to cover registration fees for more than 45 different kinds of sports.
In 2022, we celebrate our 20th Anniversary and we’re proud to share that we’ve helped almost 11,000 kids since onset, and hope to build on that in a big way moving forward. A4K strongly believes in the importance of sport participation for youth; we know that involvement in sport increases physical, emotional, social and mental well-being and helps kids build life-skills such as teamwork, collaboration and communication. No kid should ever miss out on the opportunity to “get in the game” because of financial barriers!
Bids 4 Kids is our first big fundraiser in 2022, taking the place of our annual Gala this year, and the A4K team is excited to invite you to join us between May 6th and May 15th for our biggest and most spectacular online auction ever!
