On Wednesday May 8th, 2019, McDonald’s restaurants, guests and local communities will hep raise funds in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities® Newfoundland and Labrador. Funds raised on McHappy Day, a one-day fundraising event, will help the hundreds of families, supported by RMHC NL each year, stay together as their child receives medical treatment and care far from home.

McHappy Day continues to play a large role in providing Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland and Labrador with the funds needed to support our House and the families we serve. Since McHappy Day was first celebrated in 1977, McDonald’s Canada, its franchisees and generous guests, have contributed nearly $56 million for Ronald McDonald Houses and local Canadian children’s charities.
On McHappy Day, McDonald’s® donate $1 from every Big Mac® sandwich, Happy Meal® and Hot McCafé® beverage sold in its restaurants to Ronald McDonald Houses and other children’s charities across the country. Come out and support!
McHappy Day is also an opportunity to celebrate the giving that McDonald’s Owner/Operators and Restaurant teams provide all year to Ronald McDonald House, from 10 cent Happy Meal, coin box, volunteering and additional donations. Find out more HERE
