Every year, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Amazon Canada releases it’s list of the “Most Romantic Cities In Canada.”
So how do they come up with their list? What makes THEM the expert?!?!
Amazon scans and compiles the number of sales of romance novels (print and digital), romantic comedies, sexual wellness products (wink!), relationship books and jewelry (bling, bling) from January 2017 – January 2018.
Their number crunching is based on a per capita basis in cities with more than 80,000 residents.
Amazon then takes the numbers and complies their list of the top 20 romantic cities in Oh! Canada .
For the sixth year in a row, Victoria has been named the most romantic city.
Apparently, the people of Victoria reeeeeeeeally love their relationship books, romance novels and romantic comedies.
As it turns out, a lot of cities in BC are ‘feeling the love’!
