Greta Van Fleet may have just released their debut album, Anthem of the Peaceful Army, last year; but the four-time Grammy nominated band from Michigan promises a new record this year.
In an interview with Australia’s Heavy Magazine, bass player Sam Kiszka said, “you can definitely expect album 2 in 2019.”
Kiszka touched on the whirlwind ride that has been Greta Van Fleet, “It has felt like it has been absolutely non-stop. It has been more than the last year… it has been the last two year’s straight. But it has felt like it has been a whole life-time that we have been doing this. It’s so busy, every day there are activities and every day is different and the whole only that is expected is that you don’t know what is going to happen next. I mean look at today we just got to Australia from Japan, it is our first time here and it was our first time there. It is the most wonderful thing in the world ever because we get to travel and we get to go around the world and meet all these fabulous people and have these great experiences. So it is the most wonderful thing ever and I can only compare it to being shot out of some cosmic rocket canon.”
