Sharon Osbourne was on the SiriusXM show, The Jess Cagle Show, and revealed Ozzy Osbourne will have a new solo record out in January 2020.
Ozzy provided vocals for the Post Malone track “Take What You Want.” The producer was Andrew Watt and he continued to work with that producer and bang out a new album.
Ozzy Osbourne was forced to cancel a series of shows of his “No More Tours 2” because of a serious fall back in January of 2019. He joked in the summer that he had 9 new song ideas that would show up on an album called “Recuperation.”
Talking to The Sun in September Ozzy said the collaboration he did with Post Malone is what got him recording new music again.
“I’d never even heard of this kid,” Ozzy said of Malone. “He wanted me to sing on his song ‘Take What You Want’, so I did and then one thing led to another. I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt. It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.”
This currently untitled solo record would be 70-year-old metal legend’s first since 2010’s Scream and the 12th if his career.
