GIRLS CAN RUGBY

Girls Can Rugby is a free tryout on March 6^th, 2022 for girls aged 5-14 taking place at multiple Rugby Clubs throughout BC – come and try Rugby, meet new friends and see what the Rugby community is all about!

In the year of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, we want to see more girls under the age of 14 having fun and playing Rugby at Clubs throughout British Columbia.

Rugby is the perfect sport for girls: it’s safe, inclusive, and affordable! Rugby builds confidence, strength, and lifelong friendships.

There is a place for everyone on the Rugby field.

Thanks to funding received from Sport BC and the BC Government, multiple BC Rugby Clubs are hosting a Girls Can Rugby Day on Sunday, March 6 at 10:00am-12:00pm, welcoming girls aged 5-14 to come and try the sport for free.

Parents are invited to learn about Rugby and its many benefits from those at the heart of their local community. Meet new faces and see firsthand why it is called the “Rugby family.”
