BC’s Biggest Food Truck Battle Returns to Cloverdale This Weekend
37 food trucks go head-to-head at the 5th annual Food Truck Wars: April 10–12 at Cloverdale Exhibition Grounds
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival is bringing back one of the region’s most anticipated spring events as Food Truck Wars 2026 returns to Cloverdale from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12.
Now in its fifth year, the festival will feature 37 food trucks from across BC, all competing across seven categories in what has become the province’s largest mobile food competition. Alongside the food, guests can explore an expanded artisan market featuring local makers, enjoy a site-wide beverage garden, catch live and roaming entertainment, and spend time in a bigger-than-ever Kid Zone. Admission remains pay-what-you-can by donation at the gate. A portion of proceeds will support the White Rock Titans Football and Cheer Club, continuing the festival’s focus on giving back to the community. At its core, Food Truck Wars is about the battle.
Vendors will compete in seven categories: Best Sweet Treat, Best Classic, Best Vegetarian/Plant-Based, Best in Show, Best Meat Sweats, Best International Fusion, and the always-popular People’s Choice Award — decided by festival-goers.
From Indigenous bannock at Big City Bannock to Japanese street eats at JAPADOG, wood-fired pizza from Little Devils, and comfort classics from REEL Mac and Cheese, the weekend is all about trying as much as you can — and voting for your favourites.
Why It’s Worth Checking Out
Food Truck Wars has grown into more than just a food event — it’s a full weekend experience.
A chance to try something new
Many trucks will be serving exclusive festival items you won’t find on their regular menus,
making it one of the best opportunities to sample creative street food from across the region in
one place.
Easy on the wallet
Entry is by donation, and nearly every truck will offer at least one item for $10 or less. With free
