The BC Lions are back and ready to roar like never before!
The Lions open the 2022 CFL Season at home on Saturday, June 11th at 7 o’clock at BC Place vs. the Edmonton Elks.
Gameday festivities include the BC Lions Backyard Tailgate Party starting at 2PM and a very special concert with ONEREPUBLIC ahead of kick-off.

The 2022 season is going to be an exciting one for the BC Lions! Lions owner Amar Doman has made it his mission to make Lions home games events that fan from all over won’t forget! With the return of many familiar faces, like Lucky Whitehead, Bryan Burnham and Jevon Cottoy (just to name a few), the BC Lions will also be welcoming Victoria, BC’s very own Nathan Rourke as their new starting quarterback! This is a season fans don’t want to miss out on!

SEASON KICK OFF – June 11th: Join all the fun for the BC Lions Backyard Street Party! Don’t miss OneRepublic for a fun pre-game concert and the brand new BC Lions Dance team will also be making their debut!
DIVERSITY IS STRENGTH NIGHT – JUNE 25th: The BC Lions will celebrate the diversity of culture within the Lions fan base. The night will include a performance by DJ Jovan Heer and the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive free cowbells!
FAMILY DAY – July 9th: It’ll be a day full of fun for the whole family! Families will get a chance for a post-game photo opportunity on the field.
SALUTE TO SERVICE – July 21st: Members of the military and first responders will be honoured during he game.
LEGENDS NIGHT – AUGUST 6th: Stay tuned as the Lions welcome an important figure into their Wall of Fame! This is also the Purolator Tackle Hunger game, where fans are encouraged to bring food bank donations.
RIVALRY NIGHT – August 26th: The Lions take on the Roughriders and look back on some of their classic battles against each other. This game could be huge in determining the West Division playoff picture!
AMATEUR FOOTBALL NIGHT – September 24th: The Lions are celebrating amateur athletes across British Columbia! Students who are back in town for school can also take advantage of their Student Rush promotion.
ORANGE SHIRT DAY – September 30th: The BC Lion’s Orange Shirt Day Game will bring awareness to Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. 10,000 fans will receive a free Orange Shirt with a reimagined BC Lions logo designed by Indigenous artist, Corrine Hunt.
FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT – October 15th: The Lions are wrapping up their regular season and want to celebrate YOU the fans! Special prizes will be handed out and there’s another special announcement coming from the team!
